American Idol Underground Launch Party

Last night was off the rockers! Sharon and I went to the Idol Underground launch party. It was so extra cool to have a VIP all access pass, that meant that we could go into any room at the club and schmooze with the band members and a host of other VIPs. The part that really got me teary eyed was the open bar, sob-sob, exclusive only to us, how cool is that? We got to see performances by a rap/rock group the Wylde Bunch, they are pseudoblackeyedpeas and they rocked the house. We then mozied on over to the rock section where we rocked some more with The Autums, lead singer has smashing hair! I swear! when my hair grows up, it wants to be like his. He's so delightful, when he was done, he walked past Sharon and I, we said hello and he actually stopped to talk to us, we got to stroke his wild locks. We had a few glasses of wine and I loved those waiters who just stood in a corner holding a platter with appetizers. To say the least, we had a ball, but wait there's more. After that, we went to the Abbey on Santa Monica and Robertson, we met and played with some girls and some random man bought us a bottle of dom perignon, perfect ending to an extra cool night. I think I was still a bit drunk when I got to class this morning, actually i'm probably still a little bit drunk, but dang it, it was well worth it.
